Toy & Teddy Bear Giveaway
Presented by Stay Focused Ministries
On behalf of all the families from Williams Elementary, we want to give a tremendous thank you to the Stay Focused Ministries organization and all of the wonderful volunteers for the support they provided to all families attending their Annual Toy and Teddy Bear Giveaway. We filled the cafeteria six times providing everyone with a message of hope during the Christmas Season and provided each child with a present as well as lunch for each attendee. Rain did not stop the volunteers from placing shinny bright smiles on each child’s face who received a brand new toy.
Williams Elementary wants to say on behalf of all our community, thank you to the organizations that donated their time and resources to provide every child attending school within our community a free backpack with school supplies. Thank you Stay Focused Ministries for getting our evening started positively by engaging our students in playing team competitions. Thank you Chevron for your backpack collection efforts and monetary donations for school supplies. Thank you Rotar Act of Bakersfield and the Bakersfield Young Professionals for your donations of resources and volunteer time to make the night a huge success. One more huge thank you goes to the Children First Campaign for putting all of these resources together to help us meet the needs of our students and our community!
