Welcome Back Staff!

The Family and Community Engagement Department would like to welcome you back! We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable time!

We are planning a very positive and engaging year. Please plan to attend the  Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Professional Development sessions that will be held twice a month in the Professional Development Center (PDC) and/or at location determined by your District FACE Representative.

The dates for the 2016 – 2017 school year are listed below.

FACE Professional Development Meetings (for FACE Liaisons, Family Advocates, Outreach Liaisons, and School Community Activity Assistants)

All Training sessions are from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Professional Development Center (PDC)

Our goal is to help you build an overall positive relationship between families, staff, students, and the community to help increase student academic success.

Parent and family sessions and activity ideas will be reviewed to enhance the six types of parent involvement.

We will also share ways we can work together in promoting our Parent Resource Centers and develop a cadre of parent leaders at each of our sites.
