Dear Families of Noble Elementary School,

I hope you all had a fun and restful summer. We are ready here at school for a fun and exciting year!

I first want to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Jalina Baker, your new principal of Noble.  (Mr. Rivera is now the principal at Washington Middle School.  We know he will do an amazing job at WMS as he continues to work with your students in 6th-8th grade.) I have been a part of the Noble family for the past four years.  I began here at Noble as the Academic Program Leader, and have been the Dean of Students for the past two years.  I am excited to continue my educational career helping the students of Noble grow and succeed!

We have a wonderful year planned for your students and families. Please look to our monthly newsletter for upcoming events such as Family Movie Nights and Family Reading Nights.  We want to keep in mind the 4 A’s for School Success:

Academic Achievement, Attitude, Attendance

You can help your child with ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT by listening to them read each night and by encouraging them to do their very best each day. We also want to make sure we have a positive ATTITUDE each day and come to school ready to learn.  ATTENDANCE is critical to student success.  We cannot teach the child that is not here.

This is going to be an amazing year! I look forward to helping your child achieve.  My door is always open if you have a concern or a question.

Every Day, Every KNIGHT Counts!

Jalina Baker, Directora
