Munsey Vision Statement

We are STARS: Successful Teams of Academic Responsible Scholars

Our school is a nurturing, enriching environment where all staff members are positive, influential role models for all children. We strive as a Professional Learning Community that collaborates continually and focuses on the needs of the whole child in order to maintain high standards of learning and behavior. Highly qualified teachers, administrators, and support staff are united as a family, communicating with each other in a respectful and supportive dialogue.

Students are dedicated to learning and striving to enrich their academic potential as responsible participants in their own education. children feel safe and demonstrate respect for all staff members, peers, families, communities, and themselves.

Families are actively involved as advocates in their children’s education, providing the support necessary for success in school. Families participate in school planning meetings, assist in family sponsored events, share ideas in parent-teacher conferences, and are involved in classroom learning activities.
