After School Program
After School Education and Safety Program (ASESP) is designed to support the regular education program and provide safe, constructive alternatives for students.
Many think the After School Program is all fun and games; however, the students continue their academic work as well as enjoy various extracurricular activities. The activities and classes offered during the ASESP vary from school to school.
The After School Program from Mt. Vernon Elementary students are involved in Cheerleading, Nutrition club, Physical Education, Arts and Crafts and Folkloric Dance.
The program is always accepting applications and students are selected as first come first serve.
