Holiday Luncheon

was held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel (3100 Camino Del Rio Court), and once again Ms. Robin Mangarin-Scott served as our Mistress of Ceremonies.

 The event was completely sold out (330 attendees) — for the first time ever!

The event included lunch, student entertainment from Thorner and Mt. Vernon, and a silent auction of 60 Teddy Bear Gift Baskets (donated by various schools, business and individuals). There were also be opportunity drawings for such prizes as a “Taste of the Town” Restaurant Gift Certificate package, four Disneyland tickets, $1,000 Gift Certificate from Ortho Arts (for orthodontia care) and a one year membership to the Bakersfield Petroleum Club.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the BCSD Educational Foundation’s Teacher Grants
