We want to see your baby picture in this year’s 2017-2018 Chipman Yearbook.  Cost: $5 Cash Only (turn picture and money into the office during lunch).  Bring in a Baby Picture no bigger than 4×6 with your name and advisory teacher written on the back.  (Pictures will be returned in May).  Last day to turn in picture will be 2/2/18. NO EXCEPTIONS!

8th Dedications will also be published in our Chipman Yearbook. Make sure you give your parent the flyer regarding dedications with a 40-word max. Cost: $5 Cash Only. Parents can bring in the dedication to the office or students can bring in during lunch. Last day to turn in dedications is 2/2/18. No Exceptions!

Students who enjoy playing Yugioh, Pokemon, and Magic of the Gathering are encouraged to join up. We will meet Monday to Thursday in room 220 w/Mrs. Lee.

Anime League will be with Mrs. Salem on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch, in room 950, and with Mr. Johnson in room 430 on Mondays and Wednesdays, also during lunch.

Japanese League will be held on Fridays during lunch in Room 950.  Students should come ready to learn.

Math Homework Activities will be held in room 610 (Ntui) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during lunch.

Meet the World League, also called International League will be held on Fridays in room 610 (Ntui) during lunch. Come and learn about different countries and cultures of the world.  The door is open to everyone, so come and sign in during lunch.

Room 240 (Johns) will be open for math tutoring or homework make-up for any student during lunch on Wednesday and Thursdays this week. Students must actually be there to work, and not to play games.



Boys/Girls Basketball & Soccer Away Games on 1/18/18 against Curran between 3:00-4:00.  You may attend a sports game here at Chipman if….  1.You attend with your parents. (Enforced if attending an away game.  Students are not allowed on another school campus unsupervised.  2.You have a 4.0 card.  3.You have at least a 3.0. GPA – requirements will be checked at the gate prior to you entering the field to watch the game.  Friday Games – No Afterschool Bus for students staying to support our teams. All students must follow above instructions and have prior arrangements for transportation home after the game.

All practices are Mon, Tues & Thurs from 2:00-3:00, unless there is a game scheduled.  Boys’ Soccer – Mr. Rojas.  Boys’ Basketball – Mr. Harrison.  Girls’ Basketball – Mr. Figures.  Girls’ Soccer – Mr. Gouk.  Cross Country – Ms. Muro.

Migrant Education after school class meets in Room 980 with Mrs. Barrientos on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 for those who have returned a permission slip.

Youth Achievement Program.  Activities to be held every week Tuesday and Thursday from 2-3 pm in Rm 210. Must have permission slip!

Robotics Team will meet in room 620 (Wittman) 2:00 – 2:45 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
