Family Picnic – Thursday November 9, 2017
Hello Chipman Charger community, this Thursday November 9th will be our 2nd annual Family Picnic here at Chipman. Parents are invited to come to Chipman, bring a lunch to eat with your student and enjoy some time together. Lunch period begins at 11:12 and ends at 11:52. All parents will sign in at the Main Entrance gate near the bike racks then will be directed to the picnic areas where you will wait for your student to meet you there.
Please, please, please let your child know ahead of time that you will be coming to the picnic. We learned last year that calling for students over the loudspeaker does not work well at all on picnic day (due to music and visiting). Again, please tell your child if you are coming; then meet them in the picnic areas under the solar panels or picnic tables under the shade structure near PE rooms. As a reminder: Food brought on to campus is only for you and your family. Due to potential food allergies District Policy does not allow for food sharing. If parents have any questions, please call our Family and Community Engagement Liaison, Victoria Polanco at 631-3116. Hope to see you here!
