A Message from the Principal’s Desk

It is my pleasure to welcome continuing and new students to Paul L. Cato Middle School.  We are excited to have our students back in our classrooms filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.  The Cato teachers and staff are currently preparing for another outstanding school year.  Our continued success has been built on maintaining high expectations for all students in a positive and supportive learning environment. In order to continue this success, we encourage all parents to get involved.  We offer many parent involvement opportunities.  We will have a new student orientation on August 11th at 6:00 pm and we are also looking for new members for our Booster Club and School Site Council.

Our school office is open 7:15 – 3:30 beginning August 5th. During the first few weeks of school please be patient as you use the parent pick up area each morning and afternoon. We will have staff in front of the school to help direct traffic. When entering the parent pick up area, please pull forward into the loading zone that is marked with a yellow curb before having your child exit or enter your vehicle. Our parent pick up procedures have helped to ensure our students’ safety before and after school.

Once again, Welcome back! I look forward to seeing everyone August 17th.
