Rafer Johnson Student Wins “Letters to Santa” Contest
December 21, 2017 – Congratulations to Lashanda Jones, 4th grader at Rafer Johnson Elementary for being selected as one of the 25 winners from all of Kern County for her entry into the “Letters to Santa Contest.” Each year, The Bakersfield Californian holds a contest for students to write letters to Santa. The selected winners receive a 4-pack of tickets to CALM Holiday Lights.
LaShanda was very excited to have won, and according to her letter, was very much looking forward to enjoying the Holiday Lights with her family.
