BCSD Academic Conference Day

November 9, 2017 – BCSD teachers, administrators and staff participated in the first Academic Conference Day of the 2017/18 school year.  Attendees received professional development at locations and campuses throughout the district on a variety of topics including software applications, teaching tools, and academic improvement techniques.

The sessions were held in an effort to continue to provide the highest level of excellence and services to BCSD students. The next Academic Conference Day will take place Friday, March 2, 2018.

Teachers at Washington Middle School receive training during Academic Conference Day.

Over 200 representatives from the Nutrition Department received training from a keynote speaker.

Campus supervisors gathered for a day of training at the Education Center.

Representatives from Family and Community Engagement gathered at the Education Center for professional development.

Teachers from the Visual and Performing Arts Department participated in professional development at Chipman Jr. High.
