More than $11,000 Raised at 5th Annual Golf Tournament

October 24, 2017 – The BCSD Education Foundation recently hosted the 5th Annual Golf Tournament at the Kern River Golf Course. The fun-filled day included 18 holes of golf, long-drive and closest to pin contests, raffles, lunch and much more.  More than 20 teams of four participated, and all proceeds will directly benefit BCSD students through classroom grants.

This year’s golf tournament raised over $11,800.  Thank you to everyone who helped and participated, and a very special thank you to our event sponsors.

The golf tournament is one of several events held throughout the year that help raise funds for BCSD schools and teachers.  The BCSD Education Foundation is a charitable, non-profit organization with the following mission: Partner with the community to provide resources that directly impact the lives of children through innovative educational programs.
