BCSD Welcomes Special Guest Speaker

September 22, 2016 – Bakersfield City School District welcomed renowned author, speaker and educational consultant Michael Fullan to the District Auditorium Tuesday as guest speaker of an educational conference. Educators and administrators from around the county were invited to take part in the event.

Mr. Fullan introduced many topics and concepts all geared toward inspiring passion and cohesiveness amongst teachers, staff, principals and educational administrators.  He discussed technology integration, accountability, team-building strategies, and many other subjects, with the ultimate goal of creating a better educational environment for students.

Among the attendees were Dr. Christine Lizardi Frazier – Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS), Lisa Gilbert – KCSOS Chief Academic Officer and BCSD Superintendent, Doc Ervin.
