FACE Program Featured in State Report for its Family Engagement Practices
August 8, 2016 – The Parents As Leaders (PALs) program of BCSD’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) was developed for all parents, grandparents, and guardians interested in becoming trained in parent leadership.
The BCSD PALs program was featured in June, 2016 in a Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) Report as a school district demonstrating best practices in family engagement. With the support of FACE Liaisons, PALs will be providing tips and skills to support student’s academic success. Congratulations to the team. You can read the report here.
