Parent Volunteers Honored
May 13, 2016 – The Parent Involvement Program of the Bakersfield City School District honored exemplary volunteers at the annual Parent Volunteer of the Year awards luncheon held on May 6th at Hodel’s Liberty Hall. Parents from the schools across the District were nominated and selected by representatives at each site and recognized for their support, dedication, and commitment to the educational process.
The luncheon was attended by Board of Education members, District officials, and friends and families of the parents who were there to congratulate them for all they do for BCSD students. Each parent received a certificate and plaque to commemorate their hard work and dedication.
