Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-ACT®) is a workshop for all BCSD Special Education teachers, support staff and paraprofessionals who work with

individuals whose behavioral challenges are sometimes manifested in assault.

Pro-ACT® responds with a defined emphasis on principles to problem-solve potentially dangerous situations and avoid or even eliminate restraint.

Pro-ACT is designed to minimize risk of injury to all involved and is committed to safety and dignity through problem solving.

Pro-ACT® is a risk management and safety enhancement program, not a treatment program.
